Item Up For Auction: Vintage Shur-Stop Fire Grenade Hanging Bracket. Description: Nice vintage hanging bracket for a Shur-Stop Fire Grenade. This bracket is designed to come apart in a fire, and drop automatically. This is done with a bracket behind the plaques, that has a soldiered joint that will break away when it gets hot. It was never activated, so if you have a glass grenade, you can put it back together and it would be ready for use. I would guess that it's from the 1920's or 30's era. Size: Front and back plaques measure 2 1/2" x 3 9/16". Condition: Overall the condition is very good.
