Up for auction is a never before assembled Privateer Super "15" , Amphibious Flying Boat balsa wood model manufactured by Sig Manufacturing Co. of Montezuma, Iowa. This plane has a 60" wingspan and is designed for either R/C or free flight and may be flown off water or land. This model airplane kit is for .09 to .15 engines. This kit includes very detailed, full size plans and measure 50" by 36". The box is filled with balsa wood parts. This kit also includes the paper and silk(?) used for covering the wings (the paper is somewhat yellowed from age). The kit also includes a bag of small metal parts plus some additional metal parts. The kit itself appears to be in excellent condition. The plans are in very nice condition with minimal yellowing. The box, which is 31 1/2" long and 6 5/8" wide, is in very nice condition with some yellowing with age. The label on the box has great graphics. This kit appears to be complete.
