First pin: This is an Oleg Cassini figural of a beautiful and perhaps royal lady.It is very pretty and feminine.Approximately 1.5 x 1 inches.Signed on the back 'Oleg Cassini.'The flash makes the gold plate or goldtone appear more yellow than it does in person. The gold color is what I think is called 'Russian gold' or 'antique gold.'The pearls appear to be all there and are in good condition with no peeling or discoloration. There are a few clear rhinestones missing. I see one on the right-hand side of the collar and one on either side of the robe's trim, both almost at the bottom. The rhinestones are sparkling and clear; none has darkened. The faux jade head is a slightly lighter color on the right side. The pin and clasp work great. The pin is straight and has no metal loss. The brooch has no metal loss, tarnish, corrosion, etc.Nettie Rosenstein apparently used the design to create a nearly identical pin. See: /imagesP/Personal/PersSigned/ros22914.jpg Just to be extra-clear, this auction is for the Oleg Cassini brooches only. The second pin is a matching Oleg Cassini brooch. They look spectacular together.Approximately 1 3/4 x 3/4 inches. On the back it is signed Oleg Cassini. The gold color is called 'Russian gold' or 'antique gold.'The pearls appear to be all there and are in good condition without peeling or discoloration. The rhinestones read more
