Vintage Signed Sarah Coventry Contessa Brooch Pin Pendant Opal Rhinestone ca 1970s This is a Vintage Signed Sarah Coventry Brooch Pin with multi colored rhinestones and an art glass foiled cabochon that resembles an Opal stone. The name of the piece is The Contessa. It has beautiful antiqued gold toned metal with pink, purple and green rhinestones. It features a crown at the top and a dangle at the bottom. On the back it is signed "© COVENTRY". There is a hook at and a 'C' clasp with a locking mechanism and a bail for a chain. All rhinestones are present and shiny. This was bought by my mother in the late 1970's. I have since inherited the brooch, but I don't wear it. In fact it was not worn very much at all - it still retains all its original beauty. Condition: Vintage Excellent - All metal looks like new with no tarnish, dents, or damage. The rhinestones are in perfect sparkly condition with no chips and all enclosure pins are in place. The pin rod / bar is slightly loose, but in fine working condition and secures into the locking C Clasp with no issue (the locking mechanism is nice and tight).
