Please see DOWN PAGE for additional written details.For your consideration:This is a fantastic vintage signed figural Swan brooch! This piece is a treasure. It has a center pink marbled art glass cabochon and two accent cabochons of clear pink. The swan is highly detailed with hand painted enamel and a rhinestone eye. Her (I say her, as she is purple....but who knows it could be a he) wing is riveted on and has slight movement. Let this gal swim into your pond and she promises to be a good pet! MAKER~ This brooch is signed with a raised S in a star. Not much is known about this manufacturer, but it may be Fred Gray Corp (thanks to a bird brooch found by Pat Seal & information from Illusion RCJ.) SIZE~ This brooch measures 2-3/8" tall and is 2" wide at the widest points. CONDITION~ This brooch is in Great Vintage Condition! No missing rhinestones, no dead rhinestones, no dark or discolored rhinestone, no joint breaks, no green disease (i.e., metal corrosion,) no problems to the standard pin back, no chips, no cracks, no scratches, no repairs, no discoloration. There is minimal wear to the enamel (it shows up much more in the photos than it does in person (my camera is a bit too good:) this is due to age and does not affect the beauty of this piece.
