Vintage Silhoutte Man Woman Tree COURTING COUPLE glass This is a Reverse Painted Silhouette picture of a courting 18th century couple. Black silhouette painting is on back side of flat glass and framed over what looks like a gold foil background. On the back of the picture is stamped by manufacturer. (see picture) We do not know the age of this artwork. Outside of frame measures 10.5" high x 8.5" wide. Seems of be in the original frame of black finished wood. Hanger is string.
