This is a wonderful vintage silver filigree cigarette case. Measuring 3.5 inches long and 2.75 inches wide, this gorgeous case has been beautifully made in a "shell" pattern silver filigree and is in excellent condition throughout with no damage to the filigree work. It has a piece of gold coloured elastic to hold the cigarettes in place and a secure fastening which opens and closes perfectly. There are two hallmarks on the fastening which I believe are European silver marks but are very difficult to identify - please see photo. A lovely addition to any silver collection.
