Offered for auction is a 7 foot 5 inch garland made of vintage silver and gold mercury glass beads. The beads are vintage, from the 1920s to the 1950s or so, and have been strung on vintage string. Both ends have wire loops for hanging. This is a very light garland and would do well on the smallest types of feather trees. The square shaped frosted silver beads with tiny bumps on the surfaces are unusual and the tiny gold barrel shaped tube beads are as well. The larger triangular shaped beads are probably the oldest, and are not too common either. The tiny 3 mm silver beads are rather hard to come by these days as well. These vintage beads may have some oxidation, darkening or color variation, and the ends are sometimes irregular or sharp. Payment is due within three days of auction close. I sell only within the United States, and will combine shipping on multiple items if they close within three days of each other. Please advise if you are bidding on multiple items and are planning to pay for all items with one invoice.
