Vintage Silver TANE Necklace and Bracelet. AWESOME Silver with gold wash. PERFECT TANE is a very prestigious silver company in Mexico City, it manufactures handsome jewelry and hollowware with a strong emphasis on quality. It expanded rapidly in the 1960's and 1970's with the technical assistance from Tiffany's. This appears in the book: Mexican Silver, 20 th Century Handwrought Jewelry & Metalwork by Penny Chittim Morrill and Carole A. Berk, pg. 253 - 255. This beautiful necklace and bracelet are considered by itself as art jewelry. They are made of silver in its color and one of the parts of the central pieces has gold wash. This creates a great contrast. It from the 80's approx. The necklace is marked as follows: TANE, MT01, 925, MEX, and TANE on the clasp. It measures: 16 in. The bracelet is marked as follows: TANE, 925, MT0?, MEX, and TANE on the clasp. It measures: 7 in.
