Offered is a Most Unique Circa Vintage Antique 1930S Silver Tone Baubles and Dangles Bib Necklace in Excellent Condition. Circa places this presentation in the antique and vintage categorizations. Stylization is Bib / Collar / Choker. The necklace has not been tested, but has the appearance of silver incorporated with a base metal. The necklace can also be referred to as STATEMENT. It has a commanding presence with a thick interlinked chain measuring approximately 16” in length. Closure is a secure fish hook clasp. The “bib” area of the necklace is fully loaded with solid baubles and dangles. There are dangling silver balls and decorative dangling baubles ~ some with “lantern” like appearance. The necklace is entirely original with all the baubles and ball dangles intact. There is one tiny end silver ball missing from one of the dangles ~ so loaded, one has to carefully scrutinize to locate it. The necklace has some patina and oxidation commonly present on 800 silver. Silver is most likely an alloy in this presentation but the necklace is being sold as “silver tone” metal. A decided conversation piece, it looks marvelous with a black ensemble, in particular.
