Vintage Silverplate Castor Cruet Set Victorian Antique

This auction consists of a nice early castor or cruet set. It is marked on the bottom, Warranted Triple Plate, Aurora 471, _P. Mfg. Co. (w you see the _ before the P I'm not able to make that letter or number out). The silverplated holder stands 16 1/2" high and the holder of the bottles is 7 3/8" in diameter. T is nice detail in the handle and around the holder with a floral design impressed all the way around. The holder needs to be polished. The holder appears to be in good condition. I don't see any dents in the silverplated metal. At the top of the handle, on the back side, the forging appears a little rough and that roughness measures 1/8" x 1/4". T are 5 bottles in this set. All are wheel cut. The 2 tallest bottles have glass stoppers one of which has a small chip on the very tip that measures 5/32" x 5/32" and the other has a fleck of glass chipped off the top. The other 3 bottles have a silverplated top, one of which is hinged. The hinged bottle has a small chip on the lip of the bottle that rests in the holder that measures less than 1/8" in diameter. I would say these minor imperfections in this set are to be expected for it's age and the usage it must have seen. I attended an estate sale a while back and acquired this nice set and some other Victorian era items. Be sure to check back this week to see some other nice things. I will always combine shipping. This set weighs 4 1/4 lbs. so I have estimated shipping weight at between 7 and 8 lbs. to allow for packing materials and the box.
