EXCELLENT AUCTION OPPORTUNITY to acquire a neat HO scale Electric Trolley Bus Set produced in the 1950s in Japan and sold in the USA under the Silvine label, Silvine Model Importers, Inc., Glenside, PA,.This example has been used, but has survived in excellent condition with its box, all poles, and overhead line-(blades) Even includes the rare paperwork/instruction leaflet printed in Japan.Bus is excellent, has been cleaned and lubed, and test runs fine with operating lightsDefects include loss of cardboard box inserts for poles and bases, box top wear with some tape repair, and some mild bus roof blemishing, especially w poles make contact see photos.. Note the Pan American World Airways and Hunts Tomato Sauce advertisements!. Obviously similar to and compatible with the earlier Eheim bus systems. Set was designed for use on the HO Marklin, Fleischmann, Trix, Rivarossi, and Hornby Dublo layouts of the day, and uses any of the above DC or AC power packs, as well as more current Lima, Liliput, Athearn, etcShould be of interest to Bus, Trolley, Streetcar, Strassenbahn, and Tram collector-operators (Wiking, Brawa, Hamo, Mantua Tyco, etc).
