Up for bid is a SINCLAIR "DINO" Electric Gas Pump made by Bennett. This pump has been rewired and repainted. It comes with the original hose and nozzle. The spinner bulbs/sight glasses are original, and the ad glass is original, although the ad glass on one side has a crack in it. It has new door glass. The body of this pump was in rather rough shape, as you can see in the close-up pictures of the main body; t are several dents still viewable underneath the new paint, and a couple of areas opposite the side having the nozzle that show some bondo patching. While the colors are vibrant, the restoration is a rather rough one. The globe on top is a reproduction.

This gas pump belongs to Mr. Kenneth Boyd of Roosevelt , Oklahoma , and he is the one who found and repainted it. Mr. Boyd is 78 years old and has lived all of his life on the farm that has been in his family for over 100 years. He has been restoring petroleum products for several years now, having completed approximately 100 of these electric and gravity-flow gas pumps to date (among other restoration projects). Mr. Boyd would be happy to answer any questions you have about this particular pump. You may reach him at between the hours of 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM (Central Time) daily.

This pump is quite heavy, weighing about 300 lbs crated. It will either need to be picked up in Oklahoma or be shipped by "freight." T is a $250.00 charge for a solid shipping crate (plywood reinforced with 2X4's) if you choose to have the pump shipped to you. Mr. Boyd will be happy to arrange for a freight company to transport and deliver this item to the address you provide (all, understandably, at your expense); the address will have to be that of a business (your business or someone you know), for the freight company does not deliver to residential addresses. Feel free to call Mr. Boyd at and he can secure for you the shipping expenses.

The "Buyer" is responsible for all packing, transportation and delivery fees from Roosevelt , OK , 73564 . It is also to be understood that the buyer assumes all liability associated with freighting (breakage of the glass globe, damage to the skins, etc.) . [Though packed well for shipment, out of about 75 pumps shipped by freight thus far, only five have received damage, but it can happen, and--we want it to be clear--the buyer assumes the liablity for damage sustained in shipment. Insurance can be purchased for commerical freight and is recommended.]
