This is a 1952 singer 201 sewing machine with potted motor. Serial number is AL292649. Everything has been cleaned, greased and oiled appropriately with the upper gears receiving grease and the lower receiving oil as called for in the original manual.The motor has been cleaned and greased and all wiring inspected for safety.The foot pedal and power chord have been rewired. The power cord length is one inch shy of 9 feet.Included in the sale are the original owners manual, box of accessories, and a buttonholer. The accessories include everything shown in the photos. The buttonholer has been tested and does work. It is self contained and does not use templates. All selections for the size and needs of the buttonhole are selected using knobs, screws and levers on the unit itself. The original manual is included which explains all this for you.Also included is the original owner's manual for the sewing machine itself. This manual does have mildew spotting varying from minor to severe with most pages being very minor and only a few pages being severe.I have sewn with the machine and it performs flawlessly in every way!Buy with confidence as I have quite a bit of experience shipping sewing machines.
