Singer Fashion Mate Model No. 237 Sewing Machine With Carrying Case Made in France Up for your consideration we are offering this excellent Singer Fashion Mate Sewing Machine - Model No. 237. 110-120 V and .84 amp motor. It has been well used, well cared for, shows no abuse and has excellent care - clean as a whistle. I LOVE the older Singer Sewing Machines and this one is, by far, one of the nicest machines I have ever used. Powers up with no hesitation and just glides over your fabric. Sews smooth, even stitches. Straight stitch and zig-zag. This machine is dependable and doesn't require much maintainence. Could probably use a cleaning and oiling for optimum performance (as should all machines every year or two, if you are an avid sewer), but, AS IS , this machine works BEAUTIFULLY. Comes with some new, old stock, needles and six bobbins. Made in France. The old carrying case shows some wear but is great storage for the machine. This Singer is a workhorse of a machine, is in great condition and will last for generations more with proper care. What a great machine...satisfaction guaranteed!
