Vintage Singing Bird Box Automaton Mechanism

[I'm re-listing this item because the buyer never paid.] A vintage c1890 mechanism to a singing bird. This mounts in the base of a bird cage or other device and actuates an artificial bird to move and sing. It's quite heavy, and nicely-made; not a cheap modern copy. It has no key, but the mechanism works when I turn the spring barrel manually. Looks complete (except no bird). The zephyr skin bellows covering looks original and, of course, must be re-done. The base plate is about 5.25" (135mm) square. I see no markings or maker's name, though it would be Swiss, German, or French.
