NO RESERVE AUCTION! NO RESERVE AUCTION! For Sale – 1958 Slingerland Radio King 4 piece drum kit in very rare Capri pearl wrap. This wrap was only offered for a few years from 1958 in to the early 1960’s. The drum sizes are 8X12 mounted tom, 16X16 floor tom, 14X22 bass and 5X14 snare drum. The bass drum and toms are mahogany with maple reinforcement rings. The gem of the kit is the top of the line 8 lug Radio King snare drum with all maple shell. The snare drum is stamped Dec 15, 1958 on the interior shell (see photo). The condition of the drums is excellent. The chrome parts are clean and original with near flawless lugs and just slight pitting on some of the metal rims. The Capri wrap is also in beautiful condition with little to no fade. This is a very hard wrap to photograph and is much more impressive in person. Under lights this wrap really comes to life. Also included are the original bass drum and tom spurs and bass drum mounted cymbal stand. Please do not bid unless you are willing to buy!
