This is a NOS set of 60's Vintage Slingerland Snappy Wire Snares Model R-2016 (20 strand , 16" long with the metal straps riveted to the end for 14" drum ) The package has Radio King written on it so I assume it is for that Model of snare drum . They appear to be the same as those for the super (clam shell strainer) with the addition of the metal straps . The original Slingerland wires were wonderful and some have been reproduced by Canopus Drums . This is an original and I am sure hard to find set.
