Followingmy brother passing away I have started the process of selling off the things he had hidden away at the back of the garage. This is a small boat shaped level from J Rabone & Sons, on the metal top at one end is stamped J Rabone & Sons Birmingham made in England and at the other Warranted No. 1626 Correct. On one side is a sticker reading British Made Rabone's Trade Mark Hockley Abbey. The level can be used to check both horizontal and vertical planes with its two sight glasses and the ends on the base of the level are metal to ensure accuracy. It is approximately 16mm wide at the centre, 31mm tall and 156mm long. Ple ase look at the photos as they are an integral part of the description and do the item far better justice than my words.
