THIS AUCTION FEATURES AN OLD WOODEN SPINNING WHEEL.IT HAS A LOT OF WEAR AND SOME MISSING DECORATIVE PIECES.I DON'T KNOW HOW A SPINNING WHEEL WORKS SO I CANT SPECIFY MISSING OPERATIVE PIECES.I TOOK ALOT OF PICS AND FEEL FREE TO ASK ME QUESTIONS AND OR MORE PICS IF NEEDED.THE WHEEL SPINS SMOOTHLY,AND THE WHOLE PIECE HAS A VERY NICE PATINA. IT STANDS ABOUT 38 &1/2" HIGH AND ABOUT 18 & 1/2 " WIDE.THIS IS A CHARMING PIECE OF THE PAST , FOR YOUR RESTORATION SKILLS , OR DECORATION. THANKS FOR LOOKING AND GOOD LUCK! ALSO CLOSER TO THE END OF AUCTION I WILLPACKAGE WHEN I KNOW ITS SAFE AND WILL HAVE A BETTER IDEA AND OR POSSIBLY CHEAPER PRICE FOR SHIPPING.VERY HARD TO ESTIMATE WITHOUT PACKAGING IT ,BUT I WILL FOR SURE DO THE BEST I CAN DO ON THE SHIPPING CHARGES.
I have recieved an email from a very nice fellow ebayer, that explained to me that this wheel has some missing parts. These include the flyer, whorl, bobbins, maidens, and mother of all. These parts are very hard to replace because of the unusual size of this wheel. It appears that this should only be bid on for decorative purposes, or if you are handy at making these missing parts. Thanks
