Vintage Smith-Corona Galaxie Deluxe ManualPortable Typewriter With Carrying Case 1970's Retro Look ~ Works Great! This listing is for a vintage SMITH CORONA GALAXIE DELUXE portable manual typewriter with its original hard side carrying case. The typewriter with its full size typing keyboard works great and the two-tone metal body gives it a wonderful 1970's retro look. All the keys are clean and bright with no scratches or wear marks and each key types easily. The outside of the carrying case shows normal signs of occasional use while the inside of the case (see photo) even includes the original Do Not Remove sign and styrofoam strip to protect the unit during shipping. This manual Smith-Corona portable typewriter features easy "Set Tab" and "Clear Tab" functions that make setting tabs a breeze. It also many other features like an easy "slide open" top cover for changing ribbons quickly and dedicated keys for typing special symbols like the � (cents), � (one quarter) and � (one half) symbols, to name a few. As shown in the photos, the typewriter itself is clean, with no scratches but a few scuff marks on the very back from where the typewriter locks into its carrying case.
