Up for sale today with a buy it now or best offer I have a really nice, all original 1953 Smith Miller Official Tow Car Wrecker Truck. I selling this Smith Miller tow truck wrecker for a friend of mine. He has owed this truck for the last 61 years since it was new. This truck has never been played with outside. I would rate the original paint at about 85%- 87% with normal paint chips and scuffs from being lightly played with (inside the house only) over the last 61 years. There is nothing broken and there are no casting cracks on this truck at all. My friend said the original steering wheel was lost many years ago and was replaced with a black plastic one some time back, it's not like the original steering wheel but it works. The tires and rims are in great shape, the doors open and close, the door hinges and door handles are still intact, the original boom chain and wrecker hook are still intact, the wrecker crank and release lever are still intact and work great, the bumpers are straight with no cracks, chips or dents, the headlights and tail lights are all still there, the wrecker boom is straight and all there, the original decals (That I would rate at 92%) are all there and most all are readable. Super nice truck, there will be no disappointments with this all original, very well taken care of, 1953 Smith Miller wrecker truck.
