Vintage Smiths 15 Jewel Cal. 39 English Movement Swiss Porcelain Braille Dial Hand Winding Watch in very good condition and good working order, complete with period Black Leather Strap .The high polish chrome plated case measures approx. 33mm excluding the crown x 44mm x 17mm wide lugs, with steel crown at 3, spring loaded pusher button to open front case at 6 and stainless steel snap on case back. The near mint white porcelain braille dial has a black railroad minute marker track, raised braille tactile hour markers, black hour numerals, steel silver hands and is signed, Smith, English Movement, Swiss Dial. The 15 Jewel Cal. 39 Hand Winding Movement is in good working order, keeping good time and is signed, Made in England, 15 Jewels, 39, 5988. The watch is complete with the original period Black Leather Strap with Steel Buckle, in used but still serviceable condition.
