You are bidding on this vintage snare drum. I was given this drum a decade ago by a name session drummer, but I do not know the exact make or date of manufacture. Inside the shell, it has been painted white and due to this I am unable to tell if it is maple, birch or mahogany shell. What I do know, is that it is has a thin vintage shell (could be solid shelled like Noble and Cooley or Slingerland Radio King... I am not sure). The throw-off looks like Premier, as do some of the lugs... beyond that, some drum historians out there could tell you more than I could! I have used it on a number of shows and recordings. It has a great vintage sound and works great for a lot of different genres of music. Overall, the condition is average for age. There a number of blemishes, some pitting on chrome. Please see the photos for more details.
The drum comes fitted with a Remo-made coated head.
Good luck in bidding to secure this bargain item!
