**REVISED** Picked this out of an old barn today. Solid brass pipe holder in the shape of a swan. The outside is painted green and is in need of a good cleaning. In perfect shape except for a small amont of paint loss visible in pic #2. The inside is darkened with age but will clean up if you so desire. Measures 7" long by 3" wide by 3.5" tall and is very heavy. Pic #4 shows Pal-Bell's signature mark. (can only read with magnifier) but it says: Pal Bell Co. made in Israel, then Hebrew lettering under that. Gauranteed authentic or I will buy it back!! ** Revision** I just found out that this is a rare Pal-Bell product made in Israel between 1939 and 1948! Here is some info that I found on the web: "In 1939 in Tel Aviv, Maurice Ascalon (formerly known as Moshe Klein) founded Pal-Bell Co. Ltd., with the mission of creating tasteful decorative and functional metalwork and Judaica of the highest quality. In 1948, during Israel's War for Independence, in order to assist Israel's efforts, Ascalon designed munitions and re-tooled the Pal-Bell factories to manufacture munitions and bomb detonators for Israel's armed forces. Today, Pal-Bell originals are highly valued collectables among Art Deco, Judaica, metalware and tobacciana enthusiasts." I found this info on E-bay's reviews and guides under Pal-Bell Judaica Collectables from Israel
