Vintage - Solid Silver Trinket Box - Mappin & Webb - Dated 1922 The photographs are of the actual item and a reflection of its Very Good Condition . This is a very nice, Vintage - Solid Silver Trinket Box by Mappin & Webb It is clearly Hallmarked Birmingham 1922 - Maker M & WB It Measures approximately 3 1/2" (85mm) diameter. It Weighs over 160.0 grams. It does have a nice soft interior lining and also may be slightly weighted below, therefore it is impossible to calculate the exact weight of silver. There is a soft, pale blue lining inside the box. It features an attrative raised edge around the lid, 3 nicely shaped legs. The Lid opens & closes accurately on a good hinge. It is slightly stiff on closing probably due to a small, not very obvious bump to the edge of the lid. Some minor usage/storage knocks are evident but these are only very tiny.
