VINTAGE SOLINGEN FIXED BLADE HUNTER/SKINNER W SHEATH

We have a small knife collection to sell; please check out our other listings. This vintage knife looks like original Puma White Hunter model. This is a large and heavy fixed blade hunting knife with a mirror polish blade; full-tang construction . The blade has a "hatchet-style" sharpened back side; small teeth serrations on the front lower portion of the blade (about 1.5"serration - see photos). Thumb-notched on the back side of the blade next to the guard for extra control during slicing and skinning. The blade is acid-etched on one side with a fancy crown and antlers logo (the crown has initials FPS, with HIRSCHKRONE in the written banner). Below the logo - "SOLINGEN ROSTFREI". The other side is etched "BUND". Original light brown leather sheath stamped "MADE IN GERMANY" is included. The knife has never been used/carried or sharpened. A superb hunting knife; forged by the famous Solingen , Germany . Solingen factories have been in continued business of making fine knives, bayonets and small arms for over 120 years. Best European carbon steel you can buy. The previous owner kept this knife in his collection since the early 80 th . This is a truly collectible knife, don't miss your chance to own it. Knife specs: - Mirror-polished high-carbon steel blade (non-stainless); 0.5 cm thick- Exotic Cocobolo wood handle with lanyard hole - Brass pins - Nickel-silver hand guard - 6.25" (15.5 cm) blade - 11.0" (28.0 cm) overall WE STRONGLY PREFER MONEY ORDERS OR CHECKS AS THE PAYMENT METHOD.
