This is a wonderfully well made solid/clean 10 1/2 inches PIC hunting knife made by Solingen in Germany. The 6 inches long, 3/16 inches wide false edge high carbon blade is stamped " PIC Solingen Germany' on one side and has the mountain peak with the pike PIC logo on the other side.It has some area staining and slight pitting. It is engraved with a majestic bugling bull elk and a forest scene. Some of the brown and green original colors are still present. The handle is stag horn in a very interesting shape for great hand feel. From the side it comes in at the center. From the top it has a gentle S shape. The guard is brass and the pommel is a silvery metal, a very nice touch. The original sheath has seen better days, some of the stitching is gone as is the missing mysterious emblem from the front.
