Vintage South American Aztec Sterling HUGE Earrings This vintage pair of handmade earrings comes from South or Central America and is made of high grade silver, being marked 950 on the backs – higher quality than sterling silver. These are very large dangling earrings with post backs for pierced ears, and the sheer size and weight of these high silver content pieces make them valuable. Each earring has plenty of tribal Aztec/Mayan inspired designs and cutouts. At the top t are azurmalachite stones which are beautiful mixes of green and blue together. The posts are long on these earrings, and only one butterfly back is present, so you will need to provide your own backings for these. The earrings have a nice patina on them and are in nice vintage condition. Each one measures approx. 3 ½” long and 1 5/8” wide – HUGE earrings! The combined weight of them is 16.6 grams.
