Made in England (and, to my knowlege, no longer available) I have owned this piece for about 12 years or so and bought it new. It is 9.75" tall on a 2 by 2" felt covered base. All you Chrysler Building fans have already noticed one FLAGRANT issue -- there is no spire needle at the top. I can't speak for the designer, but given the quality and attention to detail, I can't imagine that this is a mere oversight. My hunch (unprovable, of course) is that the designer of this metal miniature replica created it based on the original plans as created by architect William Van Allen. The spire, you may know, was a last minute surprise, never included in the original plans and drawings. It was yet another example of boys playing "mine is bigger than yours" as the Chrysler secretly slid the massive needle out of the top of the building in order to stand BIGGER and taller than the Bank of Manhattan tower downtown.
