This is Vintage Soviet Military Power Telescope NEW in BOX. This devise is HUGE! Telescope itself (without the box it comes in) weighs abot 20 pounds! I am not specialist in these things, so, I have no idea what to tell you about it unless you ask. Honestly, I have no idea about the actual cost of this telescope, as I personally have never ever seen anything like this before! This telescope is made of very high quality optics and very heavy duty metal (steel, I would guess, covered by special protecting military gray paint). It comes in heavy duty wooden box, with all paper work (written in russian, of course) and has never been used, though has some light scratches on the metal body and tripod, possibly left by those who originally packed that. Interesting thing is that all parts are still wrapped in the paper and original grease/lubricant can be seen in some areas of this devise, a good sign of condition of the item, that never has been taken off the box until now. It has been offered for sale by friend of mine, who purchsed this product in the Soviet Union (city of Novosibirsk) while traveling t for certain business a long time ago. Instruction says that the max power of it with Barlow lens and adaptor (both included) is x132, it has a mirror inside, which looks like at least 2.5" in diameter, it comes with number of accessories, incl. screwdriver, brush, some other parts, etc. It stands about 45"-50" high when assembled (I did not measured it, honestly, but it's tall, believe me! The size of wooden box is 22.5" x 14,5" x 6 3/4"! This telescope is damn heavy, so postage would be high. I am not looking to make any money on shipping. My handling charges are $5.00 and the rest is actual cost to you. I quoted shipping as $50.00 within US and Canada, but if it turns lower then that - I GUARANTEE you - extra money will be immediately returned to the buyer! If it happend to be more money - I'll let you know. I do not think it can be posted to Europe due to the weight and consequently, the shipping cost. Ask me any questions if interested! Thank you!
