Vintage and Rare Soviet /Russian Navy Compass solid aluminum/brass Compass! This one is very rare and I personally cleaned it to be environmentally friendly since compass inside was kerosene filed (smell strong and bad). It is in nice shape, need to be liquid filed (the best is alcohol) in order to work! In process of cleaning and paint stripping few small screws are missing.Brass compass is in aluminum helmet triple enclosure/box. That aluminum helmet is on double casted aluminum base,completely cleaned from original dark Grey paint inside and outside! Helmet with base is 13" high and 10" in diameter and beautiful sky blue centered compass alone is 5" diameter, 5" high and encircled in 7" brass frame! Total weight is 15 pounds. Compass was build 1975 with serial #473.
