I am selling off the last of my serious baseball memorabilia. This bat, a Spalding Harry Davis autograph model, is approximately 100 years old. Davis played until 1917, but his last full season was 1910. Most likely the autograph model was from that time, give or take a couple of years. This bat measures 34 1/4", and has been used, but I would say, not harshly, despite a slight crack that is still visible below the tape line (hopefully depicted in the photos), and the tape itself was applied a very long time ago. The knob is in very good shape, there are only a couple of knicks (from spikes, or whatever) that are not serious, and the patina is wonderful. I doubt this bat has been used since the 1920's, or earlier. I have had it in my collection for the past 25 years. If you are reading this, you no doubt know this bat is listed as very rare. I have never seen another one, and overall it is a great representation of early 20th century memorabilia. If you purchase this item and are not completely satisfied that I have presented it accurately, I will refund your money, less return shipping. I will consider serious offers. Email with questions and I will get back to you quickly. Shipping is free within the lower 48, a modest fee for anywhere else. Thanks for looking.
