Vintage Spice Rack & 14 Griffith's Jars. For your consideration is a very charming vintage spice rack that I have countrified, (painted it), in a wedgewood green, (some of the pictures show it in the caramel color that I originally painted it, but everyone seems to like the green better, so I re-painted it!). And with it comes 14 vintage glass Griffith's spice jars with the fired on lettering so you don't have to worry about paper labels falling off! The rack had an old paper label on the bottom when purchased, (some Co., Japan 1969), but I could not get it off, and it dissolved when I washed the rack. This rack was just your average dark 60's looking wood, somewhat scratched and fairly ugly & smelly, but had great potential! It has two little drawers on the bottom, and a display shelf up top. Perfect to display your favorite spice jars, vintage shakers, or toothpick holders! The great glass jars were from another rack that I threw away, it was not restorable. The jars are Griffith's glass jars with metal tops, and have the fired on spice names, (white lettering). (Griffith's Crystal Food Products, Watseka, Ill.; Griffith's made jars during the depression era too, but these jars are not quite that old; but are vintage, check out the old postal code: Ill. vs. IL!).
