Up for grabs we have a super pretty but ultra mean firemans style tomahawk axe hatchet......This axe is approx. 20 inches long and she goes by the name " The Voodoo Vixen "...The head on this axe is one that I custom cut and reshaped out of an old cruiser style double bitted axe head I picked up.......I cut the shape using my sabre saw, alot of oil, patience, more patience and some Judas Priest tunes pumping through the speakers in the shop.....After I got done reshaping this beauty, I then polished the whole head and then blued the head with a cool raindrop/streaked pattern.............Please do not consider her a toy at any time, both ends of this axe are LETHAL sharp, this is a seriously DANGEROUS piece!!!!!.........There is no damage to this head such as cracks, welds, chips or pits............. The handle is one of my classic shapes and is all made by me, by hand here in Oregon......The handle is made out of one piece of solid Ash, the grain pattern is over the top and very unique on this handle........I set the head using both wood wedges and epoxy and got a nice tight fit that looks good on both the top and bottom..............I sanded the handle silky smooth,gave her a flame job and used several coats of boiled linseed oil for the final finish.......Please ask questions.....I do combine when ever possible....cheaper on you read more
