Here we have a super evil yet very beautiful picaroon style tomahawk hatchet......This piece is approx. 13 inches long and just mean and pretty in all ways possible......The head on this creation is one that I custom cut and reshaped out of an old True Temper roofing axe head that I got my hands on........I call this one " The Road Warrior "........I cut the shape into this head using my sabre saw, alot of oil, patience, more patience, my dremel, even more patience and a little ZZ Top......After I got done with the reshaping process I then fully polished the whole head and then gave her a nice streaked/raindrop type blued finish for a rugged evil look and feel.....There is no damage to this head such as rust, cracks, welds, chips or pits.....This point is very sharp so do not mistake her for a toy at any time.........When I shaped and mounted this head I made it to be leaning upward a little bit, it looks like its a hod rod thats haulin ass in my opinion.......The handle is one of MY classic shapes and is all made by me, by hand here in Oregon......The handle is made out of one piece of solid really beautiful Gunstock Quality Black Walnut........I set the head using both wood wedges and epoxy and got a nice tight fit that looks good on both the top and bottom, now if you look at the picture showing the top of the head you will see
