This is a wonderful vintage squirrel cast iron tree hugger....... This is definitely a old piece and has been around....... Has great color left also..... This piece is a hollow cast iron mold with #762 stamped on the underside of the tail......I see no other stamps or markings...... This squirrel measures around 10" tall x 10" wide(paw to tail) and 2-3" thick....... Has a very nice aged brown color with some light red earth tones and nice soft black eyes and nose.....Also has very nice texture in the fur during casting.....Very nice example........ T are two pre drilled holes, one in the right paw and one down on the left paw......Mr. Squirrel likes to hang on a tree .....He has a convex form and can hang on a tree 12" or bigger in diamter ........ This friendly squirrel looks great on the tree, very real looking from a first glance........ The condition is very good for it's age........T are no breaks or chips......No cracks or repairs......Paint looks great.......The only issue is a area up near his right paw to the left, t's a strip of some rusting that has started and has some small pitting .....
