I have for your consideration a French Majolica Absinthe Pitcher Marked St. Clement #7430-3. These were made in different animals. Unique to Absinthe pitchers are the small pouring spout. Absinthe is a hallucinegenic if used to excess. It was outlawed in the early 1900's because of this. Now it is distributed but regulated by the government. The height is 11" and the base is 3 3/4" across. The colors are so bright and the glaze is shiny. Bright reds for the roosters comb and yellows, greens and browns. I find no chips, cracks or flaws of any kind. I am not an expert on French Majolica. This pitcher has been on Mom's kitchen shelf or 15 - 20 years. She bought it at an auction before that. Everything I have stated is believed to be true. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have questions before the end of the auction. SHIPPING - Buyer pays for shipping. Priority mail is generally used. Though I pack securely usually with bubble wrap and peanuts I recommend insurance especially with glass items but it is optional. Seller is not responsible for what happens once it is mailed. I also charge $1.00 or $1.50 for packing material. Please if this is a problem for you, do not bid. Packing materal is quite expensive. I accept payment through Paypal or money order. Personal check is fine too but your purchase will be sent only after payment clears. Payment is expected within 1 week after auction ends. I describe the items as best I can but I am not a dealer of any sort so all that I can do is offer you a money back guarantee.
