Vintage Staffordshire BROWN CALICO CHINTZ China Large ROUND COVERED CHEESE DISH Delightful vintage Brown Calico Chintz china Large Covered Cheese Dish. Perfect for cheese of course, but also could be used for little cakes or cookies. Dome top measures 6 inches tall to top of knob and 7 5/8 across the opening. Plate measures 9 1/2 across. Backstamp for Crownford China Co. Inc - Staffordshire England - Calico. No chips or cracks. Faint bit of crazing that you can is difficult to see and can only be seen on the underneath side of the plate. Please see my other auctions this week for more vintage items that I have listed.
