I have a nice Blue transferware plate from the L.P.&Co in the Abbey pattern cira 1851 -1866. It is a 10 sided plate 9 1/4 inches in diamiter. The pattern features an Abbey in the back ground. Along the river. With a family sitting along the river bank. Right under the bridge is some discoloration probley due to age and use. On the back t are ome pot marks made at time of manufacture and some discoloration around them. Also a small chip on the back that is not visible from the front. Some scratches on the face of the plate and crazing. But all in all the finish still looks clear and shiney.
