Welcome! Up for your consideration is a vintage Standard Oil Company oil can or oiler. The label is in very good condition for its age with only minor scratches. (see pictures). This can has the removeable spout along with a lid attached to the spout so that you can seal the can from leaking. I have come across a nice collection of these vintage oil cans, some are from England. All are quite unique and some are very fancy. Watch my store for these magnificent collectables. Description: Vintage Standard Oil household lubricant can. This fine piece is quite rare and highly collectable. Approximate measurements: The can is 4 3/4" tall and has a 2 1/2" diameter. Markings: Standard Household Lubricant, Standard Oil Company, Indiana, Has properties excelling all other oils for domestic use, sewing machines, typewriters, lawnmowers, bicycles, guns, grindstones, etc..., Will not gum or corrode, Net Contents 4oz. Condition: Excellent condition with some very minor straches and surface rust. See description above for further info on the condition. Additional information: Keep in mind that when dealing with any vintage cast item that t may be casting flaws. I will declare all major casting flaws that I find.
