Up for auction today isa nice vintage STANLEY 45 combination plane with 7 cutters. It is marked STANLEY RULE JAN 22,95 on the side. It also has the patent number but I can not read it all. The two fences have a copper tone to most of it. I think these were made of cast iron then a coat of copper plating and then the nickel coating. Included are 6 cutters; 4 straight and 2 radius. These planes came with a lot of parts and options so please look at photos to see what is included. Condition: The wood ball is not original and was made of a 45 that has female threads. This 45 has male threads. I will include the ball and the end user can modify the threads as needed. It has one small piece missing were the rod goes through the middle fence. Much of the nickel finish is worn off. There is some rust. Everything seems to operate and parts move freely. Please look at photos to determine condition and ask questions as needed.
