This vintage Stanley Bailey #5 plane is in very nice condition. Casting and mouth is great, no cracks, breaks or repairs. Blade is full length and freshly sharpened. Blade is stamped with Stanley logo and made in USA. Bottom is smooth. Jappaning finish is great nearly 95%. The handles are fine, no breaks, cracks or repairs. This plane has the frog adjustment screw. All Adjustments work and move smoothly. This plane was probably manufactured about 60 or more years ago, the quality is much better than new Stanley planes.
