Offered for your bidding consideration is a shop ready Stanley (Bailey) No. 3C plane. The japanning appears original. Only a few tiny chips here and there. Bed has a very nice glossy black shine. The sole is in excellent condition. No deformation to the mouth. The horn on the tote has a previous repair (not by me). It is above the structural pressure point on the tote when in use. I don't see it causing a problem. The repair looks strong. I am a Stanley plane collector and I also do a little restoration work from time to time. This one needed just a little refinishing on the tote and knob. The rest is original. A real clean beauty of a No. 3 plane. There are some faint owner appled markings which read "hobby shop."
