This vintage Stanley Bedrock plane appears to be a type 10 manufactured between 1936-1941. This is a very nice example of this premium quality plane. I have a personal collection of type 6 bedrocks and this is nicer than any of them. The Rosewood handles are very nice, no cracks, splits or repairs. They look like the original finish with hardly even any tool box dings. Castings, lever cap and throat are very nice. No chips, breaks or repairs. Blade has correct BBtm Stanley logo is nearly full length and freshly sharpened. Lever cap has the correct kidney shape hole with orange background behind the Stanley name. Black jappaning finish is excellent, over 95%. I combine shipping, so check out my other planes. Guaranteed fast priority shipping.
