You are bidding on a Stanley No 71 Open Throat Router Wood Plane Unused, Original box, wrapping paper, tags, cuttersRARE FIND with all accessories The plane was obtained from an estate sale, w it was apart of a private collection, appears to have been never used or lightly used, shows to have been well cared for. I believe this version of the No 71 was made from 1962 to 1973. The router plane appears to have all original parts, accessories, box, Stanley wrapping paper, hang tags, and manuals. This router plane has the 7 5/8" wide base, which was introduced in 1962, instruction manuals are dated 1957 and 1958,âe¦ the exact age is unknown, but believe it is from 1962-1973. This is a Stanley No 71 router wood plane. The plane is embossed STANLEY, NO 71, MADE IN USA, The router plane has the original three cutter bits 1/4", 1/2" and a V or smoothing cutter, the depth gauge rod, shoe, thumb screw, clamp, fence, and screw all as shown. The plane has wood knobs that are painted black. The plane has the 7 5/8" wide base, and 3 3/8" in depth and is 3 1/4" tall, and weighs approx. 2 ½ lbs. The Plane is in very good condition . As with the vintage of the plane, t is some discoloration spots, the wrapping paper was torn âe" but was clear taped back together, the knobs have some light finish cracking, all noted from the photos. This Plane would be a great enhancement to any STANLEY collection or use as a working tool . The plane is SOLD AS IS with NO RESERVE . e-mail questions before bidding. Check out my other items !
