VINTAGE STANLEY NO. SR100 RAFTER & FRAMING SQUARE NEVER USED ~THIS IS THE LAST PIECE OF THIS COLLECTION !~ This piece is one of a vintage collection of MIB's Stanley Tools. These were given to the original owner in 1952 when he retired from the Stanley Tools Company after 50 years of employment. The original owner was a "Tool Designer" for Stanley Works and was credited for designing many of the Stanley Tools still manufactured today, for instance the Stanley Utility Knife; I am in posession of the Transfer Of Patent to the Stanley Works for the Utility Knife. This auction is for two "Vintage Stanley No. SR100 Rafter & Framing Square with Booklet, 24"x16" outside square, and 22 1/2"x 14" inside square. This piece still retains paper wrapper, this is mostly stained with some type of moisture. This piece did not have a box or tissue. The Square states stainless steel, t is evidence of some type of residue, I do not know what it is, and have not attempted to remove it. The Square lies flat with no warpage, no breakage of any kind. T is a slight indication of light factory milling oil still present on the surfaces. Please view photos. A Rafter and Framing Square booklet comes with the piece.
