For auction today I have a Vintage Stanley Number 1 woodworking plane. I found this in a box of tools I bought in a local auction. I am no expert on this item, but from what I was told and what I have read on this item, I will give as accurate a description as I can. The plane is complete and has a few spots of very light rust. The iron has Stanley Rule & Level Co stamped on top of the iron. The chip breaker has L. Baileys Patent Dec. 24 1867 stamped on it. I have not cleaned it except w the guy used some fine steel wool on the iron and chip breaker to read them. It seems to be in good condition except for some small chips out of the back of the mouth and chips out of the bottom of the front knob. I hope you can see all of this from my pictures. Other than that, I think a good cleaning will make it look great! This item is used and being sold as is. As I said, I know very little about this tool, so feel free to email me with questions and I will do my best to answer them! Shipping and handling on this item will be $12.00 anyw in the lower 48 states. I DO NOT ship outside the US so please don't ask. I ship USPS Priority mail with delivery confirmation. Insurance is not required but suggested as I cannot be responsible for damage by the post office. If you want insurance, let me know after the auction is done. Payment is due 7 days
