Nice Retro Eames Era battery operated Starburst or Sunburst Wall clock. Large in size measuring about 30 inches from tip to tip in diameter. I think that this is from the 1960's. The mechanism in the back that holds the battery still has it's original label that says "NAME: STARLIGHT, MODEL: E618-001" and "SETH THOMAS". The face of the clock has 4 enlarged numbers which includes the 12, 3,6, and 9 which gives it a great deco look.The face of the clock also says "SETH THOMAS" down next to the "6". The "spokes" of the clock look to be brass and do have some minor wear (scratches) and some little spots of oxidation ( see pic ) but I understand that this is to be expected on these types of clocks. T are wood balls on the ends of brass rods inbetween the spokes. The face of the clock also has some minor surface scrtaches. Overall, It is in good condition. The spokes are removable ( they are held to the clock face by screw and nut) and I will remove them for easier, eafer, and more economical shipping. They simply screw back on using a normal household screwdriver. The clock seems to keep great accurate time but I am selling it "as is" because that is how I sell all mechanical items.
