This is a Vintage Starlon De Luxe Swiss made watch made by the Basis Watch Company. Made in the 1970s it is typical of the type of watch, well made, reliable hand winding mechanical timepiece. This was one of two bought in for overhaul because of its truly amazing condition for its age.The case is Gold coloured (probably gold plated) and in unmarked condition, the screw down back is stainless steel with a seal (renewed) again in excellent condition. The face is gold star burst finish with bright highly polished incised batons. It is marked with a “21” in laurel leaves which may be a 21st anniversary model with a crown logo (direct attempt to grab some Rolex reflected glory, I think) and is in superb condition. The hands are bright and polished as is the sweep second hand which has a distinctive red arrow. The clear and bright crystal is original and unmarked, the flush crown, which is in the 4-0-clock position is original and in excellent condition.
